The SaHoMa ® -II mesh nebulizer unit is the highly innovative heart of the SaHoMa ® -II inhalation set for horses. It works with the latest state-of-the-art mesh technology, in which a perforated disc is used in conjunction with a piezo ceramic. The resulting pump function pushes the inhalation solution through the small holes and releases it in the same size as an aerosol for inhalation. The holes in the very delicate mesh disc are around 20 times thinner than a human hair , so they are barely visible to the naked eye.

The SaHoMa ® -II mesh nebulizer unit has a volume of 17 ml and produces aerosol particles of the optimal size. With an MMAD of 3.92 µm, the particles reach the respiratory tract directly and without detours , thus helping exactly where they are needed. These optimal aerosol characteristics are offset by excellent output values ??of 0.8 ml per minute.
Reliable nebulization until the last drop
No heat is generated during the silent inhalation process, meaning that almost any preparation approved for inhalation can be nebulized using the leak-proof SaHoMa ® -II mesh nebulizer unit. We recommend using a separate mesh nebulizer unit for each horse and inhalation solution to avoid unwanted interactions, cross-contamination or infections.
