The Jr Sales Account Manager position entails working on-site at our location in Rockwood, ON being the first point of contact with walk-in customers as well as customer inquires over the phone and website. Ensure product ordered through our website is accurately processed and delivered in a timely manner, answer phone and field calls, and carry out tasks to support our sales staff.

Saw Operator

Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be able to work both independently as well as part of a team, have good communication skills with staff as well as strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure product is cut accurately and efficiently.

Role

  • Sets up and operates Hyd-Mech Band Saw, Vertical Mill, Drill Presses, Mag Drills as well as grinders and sanders
  • Reads and interprets blueprints and drawings specifications, such as material, type, and size of stock, and dimensions to be cut
  • Measures work for conformance to specifications and accuracy
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area; keeping steel racks organized and keeping steel for various jobs organized
  • Complies with all company policies and workplace safety procedures
  • Possesses excellent attendance and punctuality

Requirements

  • Experience working with various tools; Saws, Measuring Tape, Grinders, Sanders, Power Tools, and more
  • Competency with Math and the ability to carry out math equations quickly
  • Must be able to read imperial measurements with a tape measure
  • Must be able to work from verbal or written instructions- cut lists etc
  • Comfortable working in a welding shop environment
  • Own Vehicle – no public transportation available
  • Comfortable lifting of 50 lbs consistently and standing for long periods of time
  • Able to work overtime as required—sometimes on short notice

Job type: Full-time, Permanent

Shift: Monday – Thursday 6:30am-5pm

Compensation: $20-24/hour based on experience



Fence Installer

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Maintain company tools and equipment
  • Be proficient in the operation of power tools
  • Knowledge of building materials and installation methods
  • Familiarity with all tools associated with installation
  • Familiarity with all types of fencing material hardwood, electric, flex, wire mesh, and hi tensile wire
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to read and understand drawings
  • Understand and follow health and safety guidelines
  • Great customer service when working with clients
  • Safe operation of work vehicles
  • Be able/willing to work long hours in the outdoors (hot sun)
  • Be able to repeatedly lift up to 70 lbs
  • Operating mini-excavator and skid steer when required
  • Valid G license with a clean drivers abstract and reliable vehicle to get to job sites (or shop)

Shift

Monday – Friday 7am-6pm (subject to change)


Experience

  • Proven experience installing fences
  • Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
  • Good communication ability
  • Well-organized and apt in problem-solving
  • Strong attention to detail
