Together with the SaHoMa ® -II mesh nebulizer unit, the SaHoMa ® -II control unit forms the heart of our SaHoMa ® -II inhalation set for horses. Both components together form a unit and are perfectly coordinated with each other.
The SaHoMa ® -II control unit contains and manages the integrated lithium polymer battery. With its capacity of 1,200 mAh, it can be used for two hours without recharging . The display shows the remaining battery capacity and lets you know exactly when the SaHoMa ® -II control unit needs to be recharged. After just six hours, the SaHoMa ® -II control unit is fully charged and ready for the next use.
In addition, the SaHoMa ® -II control unit controls the entire nebulization process. The SaHoMa ® -II control unit has two programs that you can choose from depending on the inhalation solution you are using. In program 1, the mesh nebulizer unit nebulizes continuously, making it ideal for nebulizing isotonic saline solution or brine. Program 2, on the other hand, is for viscous medications and those that tend to foam. The time program allows you to easily set the desired nebulization time in 5-minute increments. The SaHoMa ® -II control unit is also equipped with an automatic switch-off function that switches the SaHoMa ® -II control unit off as soon as there is no more liquid in the SaHoMa ® -II mesh nebulizer unit. This means you can do other important things at the same time as the inhalation process without having to constantly monitor the entire inhalation process.
The SaHoMa ® -II control unit sits together with the SaHoMa ® -II mesh nebulizer unit on the inhalation mask and is protected from wind and weather by a cover. This also prevents the electronic components from falling out or slipping.
