Built by HFH Inc. in 2021, JohnMel Stables is located in Puslinch, Ontario and offers expert equine services and maintains high quality, up-to-date facilities. JohnMel Stables currently offers horsemanship, classical dressage, hunter jumper and pleasure lessons for all levels. This state of the art facility with a ventilated barn contains nineteen 12×12 stalls with access to the outside from dutch doors. The 200×100 ft. arena is bright and huge with premiere no dust footing (from the Royal Winter Fair). There are two viewing areas with a full kitchen, fireplace and beautiful lounges. JohnMel Stables offers boarding, clinics and facility rental.

Stalls

Melanie and John chose Nobleman stalls for their barn. The addition of top and bottom flanges, the door arch, and the finials really make quite an impact on the eye.

The Nobleman V opening is a practical choice that allows horses to stick their heads out, but an insert can be added to prevent this if required. JohnMel has a few of these inserts tucked away in case they need them.

Each stall features StableComfort stall flooring (would you expect anything less from a barn like this?) which greatly reduces time spent mucking and the amount of bedding required in the stalls.

You will find a paddock walkthrough Dutch door in each stall, making turn-in/out a snap. The lovely thing about these doors is when the weather is nice you can open the top and let a really nice breeze through your barn.

Wash Stalls

The two wash stalls feature non-slip rubber aisleway tiles on the floor and non-permeable Tuffboard on the walls. Coiled hoses were chosen for accessibility and neatness.

Grooming Stalls

Two grooming stalls feature custom shelving for ultimate convenience and organization. The custom posts with rings and finials match the wash stall ones for a classy, matching look.

Dutch Doors

There are a total of four double Dutch doors in this barn, three to outside and one to the arena. All of the doors feature System Equine hardware.
