Located in the countryside of Hagersville, this private barn is a true embodiment of “elegant horse heaven.” Built in 2022, the main structure, skillfully crafted by Bauke Jorna of Hagersville, sets the stage for a captivating equestrian experience. The equine areas, a masterpiece by Earl Chambers Carpentry of Waterford, create beautifully functional rooms for every need.
The barn houses high-end performance quarter horses that compete in Western pleasure events and barrel racing, as well as quality broodmares that foal out on the farm.
Upon entering through the black-on-black double Dutch door, guests are greeted by a breathtaking chandelier, casting a warm glow over the space. The meticulous attention to detail continues with a layout designed for both practicality and opulence.
To the right, the first door leads to the tack room and feed room, adorned with black saddle racks and heavy-duty bridle wall brackets. The second door on the right opens into a powder room and a laundry room, showcasing a commitment to both equine excellence and human comfort.
Venturing to the left, the door reveals a lounge and viewing room, providing a panoramic view of the expansive outdoor riding ring and doubling as a dry lot. The grey interlocking keystone flooring in the aisle ways exudes sophistication, guiding the way to the large 12′ x 12′ stalls.
The barn, potentially a seven-stall masterpiece, currently houses five stalls, with two configured as double-wide foaling stalls. The black powder-coated Braecrest stalls, featuring a feed opening and full grill Nobleman V door with pin latch, stand as a testament to the marriage of functionality and elegance.
Owners appreciate the versatility of the Braecrest stalls, combining the rugged practicality of our Rockwood stalls with the refined doors of our designer Nobleman stalls. The full grill doors ensure optimal ventilation and visibility, fostering a sense of connection between horses and their surroundings while maintaining safety. The owners love how the full grill doors allow horses to still see the goings-on of the barn while eating or laying, not to mention that it lets foals get a nice view, too!
Each stall boasts a window with an opening grill to infuse natural light and alleviate the boredom of stalled horses. Solid channelled partitions provide privacy, with one grilled partition along the aisle for a touch of openness.
