Gregg McNair Stable is a very successful high performance Standardbred training facility in Guelph, Ontario. McNair quietly operates one of the most efficient stables on the WEG circuit and features a blend of stakes and conditioned horses. Featured in this barn profile is one fully renovated barn as well as a newly-built barn.
Here are some “before” pictures of the renovated barn. Read on to learn about the amazing transformation!
Custom Finish Line horse stall fronts were chosen, which include a full mesh bottom. A flange below the mesh helps keep shavings inside the stall. Half swing doors, feed openings, and harness hooks complete the look.
On one side of the renovated barn, existing partitions and posts were used, but innovative chew-proof post covers were fabricated to protect the posts from further wear.
On the other side of the barn you will find freestanding custom Finish Line fronts with Competition puckboard partitions. We love these partitions for their easy cleanability.
In the new barn, you will find 34 custom Finish Line frontsdivided between two aisleways. Big doors on each end of bothaisleways provide great ventilation in combination with the mesh bottom fronts.
There are two smartly-designed wash stalls in the middle of the new barn.
