Set against the scenic landscapes of Aiken, South Carolina, this custom horse barn reflects a seamless balance of functionality, craftsmanship, and refined equine design. Measuring 64′ × 84′, the Western-inspired structure designed and built by Timberlyne features a generous 20′ center aisle, 12′ lean-tos, and 10′ porches—elements that enhance barn flow while providing practical, covered storage for daily operations. A calming sage green exterior paired with creamy trim allows the barn to integrate naturally into its surroundings, reinforcing the thoughtful planning behind this custom equine facility.
System Equine played a key role in bringing the project to life, outfitting the timber frame structure with custom-designed horse stalls and equine barn equipment. These elements were tailored to the needs of both horses and handlers while prioritizing the barn owner’s objective of creating a stylish, affordable and high-quality barn. From early layout coordination through to final product customization, every detail was selected to support long-term durability, safety, and efficient barn management. Heavy-duty steel Dutch doors with windows, Wellington mesh stall fronts, and custom stall partitions offer strength and visibility while maintaining a clean, cohesive aesthetic throughout the space. Additionally, these custom-designed stalls ensure that each horse has a comfortable and safe environment.
Practicality guided the interior design, with System Equine flooring and wash stall solutions supporting the demands of an active equestrian facility. Interlocking tile barn flooring provides a low-maintenance, slip-resistant surface, while a custom wash stall rack improves workflow and simplifies daily horse care. Oversized Dutch doors were custom manufactured to fit the barn’s large openings, preserving an open, airy feel without compromising performance or reliability.
Warm Timberlyne wood accents and brick-red flooring add contrast and character, creating an inviting interior that balances form and function.
