Insulated Ratchet Strainer for 4” Tape Rail Horse Fence is used to strain the tape. This should be used from both ends to guarantee an even strain along distances up to 300 meters. Pull the tape through the slit of the cog and pull hand tight. Cut excess tape away. Turn the strainer to the horizontal position while straining with spanner. Make sure while straining that the tape is centered on the strainer to prevent the tape from being damaged by either side of the cog.
