French Link Sliding Gag

The gag is a bit that exerts pressure on the horse’s mouth as well as on their poll when the reins are pulled. The mouth piece on this particular bit is a french link, so there is no nutcracker action on the horse’s tongue; the link is made of copper, increasing salivation and therefore promoting acceptance of the bit. The type of gag does not require rope cheek pieces.
