Pronounced “Spor-dthur frow Bear-gee,” this red dun pinto Icelandic Stallion was imported from Iceland to Kentucky in 2013. Sporður is a five-gaited stallion with show-stopping gaits, incredible bloodlines, and a friendly personality. An athlete and breeding stallion, Sporður is passing on his unique coloring and powerful build to his offspring in the U.S. and Iceland. Like their sire, many of his progeny have been rated “first prize” – the highest breed evaluation ranking available to the breed, which is based on conformation and movement.
