Our Installation Process
Site assessment and pre-construction documentation
We provide conduit layout drawings, power requirement notes, and post placement specs before installation day. No surprises on site.
Site preparation
Post footings, conduit trenching (if required), and surface prep are coordinated before gate delivery.
Gate and SystemPost™ installation
Posts are set, gate panels hung, and the SystemPost™ pre-wired post is installed. Your electrician connects the power supply.
Operator and intercom commissioning
Operator limits are set, intercom and keypad are programmed, remotes are paired, and the full system is tested before we leave.

Installation Questions
Permit requirements vary by municipality. In many rural municipalities, a driveway gate does not require a building permit if it is not attached to a structure. However, some municipalities and HOAs have height restrictions or setback requirements. We recommend confirming with your local building department before installation.
Yes — in most cases the final electrical connection to the SystemPost™ must be made by a licensed electrical contractor. The SystemPost™ significantly reduces the electrician’s on-site work because all conduit and internal wiring is already complete. You arrange your own electrician or ask us if we can coordinate.
A standard swing or sliding gate installation with the SystemPost™ typically takes one to two days on site, not including the electrician’s hookup. Larger or more complex projects may take longer. We will give you a timeline with your quote. For heavier gates concrete will need to cure for a min a week before putting a load on it.
In most cases no — we install gates that we fabricate because we stand behind the product and the installation together. If you have an existing gate that needs automation added, contact us and we will assess the situation.
