About the Role
This is not just a warehouse position — it’s a critical role in the final stage of our customer experience.
As part of our Shipping team, you are responsible for ensuring every order leaves our facility accurate, complete, and professionally prepared. The quality of your work directly impacts customer confidence in our company.
We’re looking for someone who:

This role requires consistency, accountability, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Accurately pick and prepare customer orders using pick sheets and internal systems
- Package and label shipments to meet company quality standards
- Ensure all orders are complete and correct before leaving the facility
- Assist with loading shipments and staging orders for delivery
- Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and conditions
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment
- Work collaboratively with team members across shipping, production, and sales
- Identify and communicate any issues or discrepancies before shipment
- Safely operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)

What We’re Looking For
- Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, consistent, and able to take ownership of tasks
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to lift 30–70 lbs consistently
- Team-oriented with clear communication skills
- Willingness to learn and improve
- Forklift Experience/certification is an asset

This is a position to fill a vacancy in the department. The per-hour range for this role is $21- $24 but will be based on experience and discussed through the recruitment process

Position Type: Full-Time
About the Role:
System Equine is seeking a skilled and motivated Laser / Press Brake Operator to join our growing steel fabrication team in Fergus. You’ll work in a clean, well-equipped facility featuring state-of-the-art flat and tube laser systems, CNC press brakes, and modern fabrication tools. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented with a strong mechanical background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate flat and tube lasers (Durma)
- Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment for bending and forming steel components
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and job travelers
- Ensure proper part quality, tolerance, and finish are maintained
- Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
- Assist with part sorting, packaging, and moving material to next process
- Work closely with production and design teams to meet project timelines
Qualifications:
- Experience operating laser cutting and press brake equipment (1+ year preferred)
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and basic measuring tools (calipers, tape measure, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Familiarity with SolidWorks drawings or nesting software Metalix is a bonus
