Human Resources Administrator/Executive Assistant

Position Overview

We are looking to hire a full-time Human Resources Administrator/Executive Assistant. This individual will be friendly, driven, knowledgeable, and a self-starter.

  • Support the executive team with paperwork, planning, and administrative tasks
  • Act as a management ambassador daily through the entire company with all employees
  • Participate in special projects as needed
  • Create meeting agendas—meeting plan, minutes, and followthrough by all participants
  • Create and design Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word templates
  • Support the executive team with budget process-related duties and, from time to time, support the accounting and marketing teams with basic related tasks
  • Support the executive and management teams with organizing all procedures, maintaining templates, and ensuring all procedures are revised annually by the procedure/policy owner
  • Design and develop new policies and procedures to benefit the company
  • Be the HR representative in meetings (e.g. disciplinary meetings, termination meetings, etc.)
  • Act as the HR liaison for all employees
  • Monitor payroll and manage time tracker application
  • Monitor and manage the Employee Health Program
  • Be the Social Committee head
  • Adjust and approve payroll as necessary
  • Draft any HR-related paperwork as necessary
  • Post job ads as necessary
  • Pre-screen and interview potential candidates
  • Prepare new hire packages and send out safety training for all new employees
  • Organize and attend all quarterly health and safety meetings
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work alone as well as on a team
  • Business Administration experience
  • HR experience
