Stall Fronts
The clients opted for the Rockwood stall fronts with a Nobleman V opening. The strength and durability of this stall design make it the ideal choice for a high-use training and boarding facility. The clients wanted the horses to stick their heads out of the stalls to interact with others and view what is going on inside the barn, which is achieved with the addition of the Nobleman V opening. The horseshoe latches add a wholesome touch to the stall fronts.
In the Stalls
Grilled partitions were used between the stalls to maintain the open concept look throughout the barn and allow the horses to socialize between the stalls. A privacy partition was used in the first stall next to a small storage area for hay and other miscellaneous items. The bucket hooks inside the stalls feature a protective ring to keep the bucket secure. The windows inside the stall are protected by window grills that still allow for natural light and ventilation and even swing open for easy cleaning.
Barn
Trusscore PVC was installed inside the wash stall to create a bright and clean appearance and is incredibly easy to clean and disinfect. The wash wand in the wash stall hangs from above and rotates, eliminating the struggle of tangling the water hose and preventing humans and horses from tripping on a hose underfoot. This feature is a beautiful addition to keep the space neat and tidy. The swinging blanket hanger is a fantastic way to organize and hang the horse’s blankets that allows them to dry completely.
Fencing/Paddocks
The clients opted for electric coated wire fencing with a Flex fencing topline for the paddocks. This fencing system combination encourages the horses to respect their fence lines with the added benefit of visibility. Tarter stock tanks are used for the watering source.
