With the small medication and mixing cup, which holds approx. 20 ml , you can quickly mix the various preparations you need for your animal’s inhalation therapy.
In particular, viscous medications such as cortisones can clog the finest holes in the mesh nebulizer unit if they are poured unmixed into the medication container on the mesh nebulizer unit. Even if you add isotonic saline solution afterwards, it may already be too late: the two preparations no longer combine completely and the viscous medication may have already squeezed through the small holes. In the worst case, the mesh nebulizer unit is no longer usable.
In order to ensure that the mesh nebulizer unit functions optimally, you should therefore mix any medication well with isotonic saline solution (0.9%) using the medication and mixing cup before filling it into the mesh nebulizer unit. Thanks to the useful scale in 2.5 ml and 5 ml increments, which is attached to the side of the medication and mixing cup, you can see at a glance how much inhalation solution you have already filled. Once you have attached the lid, you can shake the various inhalation solutions in the medication and mixing cup so that they emulsify. Only fill the mixed inhalation solution into the mesh nebulizer unit shortly before starting the inhalation process. This way, nothing stands in the way of a problem-free nebulization process.
